EA announces titles for Wii

Electronic Arts on Thursday said it is developing six games for Nintendo’s upcoming Wii video game console, whose selling point is a motion-detecting controller that allows players to simulate swinging a bat, golf club or sword.

More Wiimote information released. Nintendo just added another button?

Check out the picture to see this new button added to the Wiimote. The purple colored button looks kind of like the GameCube’s Z-button. Check out the picture to see it’s placement. This button has never been seen in any other picture and was not in the E3 controller.

Nintendo Wii Launch Date In Print

It seems as though someone at Sports Illustrated Kids has gotten wind of the Nintendo Wii’s launch date. The article also accurately reflects the PS3′s launch date of November 17th (which has been OFFICIALLY announced.) Of course, this Wii launch date has not been made official by Nintendo yet. Could Sports Illustrated know something we don’t?

I was looking through the Opera Web Browser’s website… and found a link for Opera devices. I was dumb-struck to find that The Wii will have it pre-installed, and the Nintendo DS is capable of using it as well. I’m still not sure how the remote will make the experience feel…
